I got into fitness when I was in 8th grade and couldn’t do a pull-up in my gym class. I found it extremely frustrating and found myself working towards doing a couple until the end of the year where I could string together 8 pull-ups in a row. I love personal training because I am able to be a part of people’s journey to becoming a better version of them self and I find that very rewarding.
Sandor’s Gym Weapon of Choice: Kettlebells
I love training with kettlebells because of the versatility you have while using them and they are a great tool to purchase for your own home gym. You can take them virtually anywhere to get a full body workout! That being said, the kettlebell swing is one of my favorite exercises because once you master that, it opens the door to a whole new world of exercises with the kettlebell!

I joined PFP after seeing my Dad go through some pretty major health problems, and he credited his gym for his ability to get through it! I played sports in high school and was always an active person, but going to the gym meant mindlessly running on a treadmill and not much else. I started going to Sandor’s pilates classes and realized there was much more out there. I used to be intimidated by weight rooms and fitness classes because I was always afraid to look like I didn’t know what I was doing, but with Sandor as my personal trainer, I have the confidence not only to show up but also to excel! I look forward to our weekly session because it’s the best I’ll feel all week. I went from literally just running on a treadmill and dreading the gym to deadlifting weights I never thought possible every week and being excited enough about it to build a steady routine. I never thought I’d be the type of person to get up at 7 a.m. to work out. Sandor is motivating, super friendly, and quick to encourage if I’m being too hard on myself after a tough workout!
