From beginner lifters new to the sport of weightlifting to national-level competitive athletes, everyone is welcome to lift with us at PFP. Our experienced USAW-certified coaches can provide programming, support, and even 1-on-1 instruction to those wishing to learn or improve their Snatch and Clean & Jerk. It all starts with a Barbell Assessment with one of our USAW Coaches.

Weightlifting is for everyone! People of all ages and backgrounds can participate in the sport of weightlifting. Many of our members lifted a barbell for the first time at PFP! Now they have discovered strength they never knew they had.

The strength of the lifter is in the team and the strength of the team is in their lifters. The entire PFP Barbell team is dedicated to helping you become the best version of themselves. We are also part of East Coast Gold Weightlifting , 20+ time USAW team national champions !
COMPETE
WITH US
PFP Barbell Athletes are not required to compete in Weightlifting meets. However, when our athletes do compete we ensure that every aspect of their competition needs are met. We have a professional approach & want you to do your best.
YOUTH BARBELL
Ages 6-12 y/o | No Experience Required
Tuesday & Wednesday 6:00PM - 7:00PM; Saturday 12:00PM - 1:00PM
1x/week = $75/month, 2x/week = $100/month, 3x/week = $125/month
The youth weightlifting program at PFP Barbell is designed to introduce kids to barbell training.
Be coached through progressions of the snatch, clean and jerk, and grow a deep understanding of the basics (warmup, stance, grip, bracing, body awareness, etc).
Coaches aim to instill standards in each athlete for focusing, encouraging one another, challenging themselves, and having fun!
It is never too young to start weightlifting. At PFP, we teach your child proper form to keep them healthy as they grow!
