OUR PFP METHOD

The Details

PFP Method is our general group fitness class. The class itself is one hour long; the classes focus on both full body strength and cardiovascular conditioning. PFP Method classes are limited in size to eight participants, so the coach can still see everyone in the class. The coach will demonstrate each exercise performed in class and explains any terminology necessary for the workout.

The Split

Monday | Wednesday | Friday

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we focus more on full-body strength. The goal of these classes is to build lean body mass and increase strength. Mondays are our knee-dominant exercise day (squat, lunge, step up, etc.). Wednesdays are our push/pull day (chest press, overhead press, pull-up, row, etc.) Fridays are our hinge days (deadlift, RDL, KB swing, etc.)

Following the main exercise on MWF, we focus on compound exercises for the rest of the body and getting the heart rate elevated through AMRAP-style circuits, Rounds for time, and EMOM-style training. We also use some traditional bodybuilding style movements (biceps, triceps, and shoulders).

Classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday take place at 6 AM, 7 AM, 9 AM, 5 PM, and 6 PM.

Tuesday | Thursday

On Tuesday and Thursday, the PFP Method class focuses more on cardio and conditioning. The goal of this class is to maintain a more elevated heart rate throughout class. These classes start with some jumping and throwing, then some traditional timed intervals on cardio machines, and finish with an AMRAP-style circuit of exercises (ball slams, jump rope, sled push, etc.)

Classes on Tuesday and Thursday take place at 6:30 AM, 9 AM, 5 PM and 6 PM.

Saturdays

On Saturdays, we have PFP Primal, which is our version of a strongman class, using odd implements, including tires, mace, sandbags, med balls, and more. This class is a good blend of strength and conditioning wrapped in one package.

Primal is a great class to try if you're tired of your same old training routine, and it takes place at 9 AM on Saturday.

Sundays

On Sundays, we have our kettlebell class which is a full-body blend of strength and conditioning using only kettlebells. This class is also good for anyone looking for a change-up from their normal routine. It takes place at 9:30 AM every Sunday.
