TUNA STEAKS

This one is super-fast - all you’re really prepping is a quick marinade. We got tuna steaks from Wholey's and have eaten this twice already this summer!

Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks

Marinade Ingredients

  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 3 teaspoons grated fresh ginger

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce

Prep

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients together

  2. You can put the marinade into a baking dish and sit the tuna steaks in the marinade or put everything in a freezer bag

  3. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. If using a baking dish, flip the steaks halfway through

  4. Sear the tuna steaks in a cast iron skillet for several minutes on each side, cooking to your preference

  5. Serve with your favorite salad for a light, quick meal
